At Parcels Mart, we believe education is the cornerstone of a brighter future. That's why we embarked on a mission to support LEA Junior Secondary School, Gbazango, Kubwa, Abuja, through our Back to School Corporate Social Responsibility project.
Inspired by UNICEF's words, "Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our children," and UNESCO's assertion, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world," we aimed to make a tangible difference.
On this memorable day, we provided:
• Educational materials for 250 students (500 exercise books, 500 pens/pencils, 500 socks, 9 school bags)
• Paid school fees for 25 students
• Supported the school with ₦250,000
• Awarded the overall best student, Mr. Timothy Musa Samuel, with ₦50,000
• Recognized 1st to 3rd positions in each class
• Delivered an impactful talk on education, health, and bullying
Our goal was to alleviate some of the economic burdens faced by Nigerian families, ensuring these students continue learning without interruption.
As we reflect on this initiative, we're reminded that delivering parcels is just the beginning. We're delivering opportunities, hope, and a commitment to Nigeria's future.
